Utilising the inherent thermal efficiencies of plate heat exchanger design, this unique style of cooler is manufactured entirely from stainless steel and vacuum brazed to ensure leak-free operation, long service life and high strength.

Designed to be installed directly within a radiator coolant circuit, plate oil coolers can be located within the radiator bottom tank or remote mounted within a separate manifold, thus offering a high degree of application flexibility.

PHE Kits

Diesel engines are often used in applications where the installation environment prevents the use of conventional air-blast heat exchangers (radiators), such as emergency electrical generator sets in buildings (basements and rooftops).

CBM Radiators offer a unique and versatile solution to these applications in the form of PHE Kits. Tailored specifically to suit the engine specification, the kits incorporate high efficiency stainless steel plate heat exchangers, packaged with inter-connecting plumbing, deaeration tanks, vent lines and coolant level indicators. The complete assembly is configured on a skid mounted structure for close-couple mounting to the engine.
